Michael J. Vettraino
President and founder Mike Vettraino has attracted a staff of
technicians and analysts who benefit from his more than 25 years of
experience in the industry. He attended RETS Technological School where
he studied electrical engineering and Macomb Community College for
mechanical engineering. Mike has worked for Cross Co. where he served
as an apprentice machine builder until he completed his schooling and
becoming a certified machine builder. Mike has also worked for the
original Unison Corporation where he was a member of the design team
that conceived and prescribed the specifications for many of the Unison
grinders seen in the field today. In addition, Mike worked in
Unison’s Research and Development and Sales Department. He
managed the worldwide Service Department that built flexible grinding
machines, punch grinders and cylindrical grinders.
This experience well prepared Mike to build and
rebuild the precision machines critical to making punches, cutting
tools and those vital parts for medical machines used by osteopathic
and brain surgeons and doctors of other medical specialties.
Brent Gilcher
Service engineer Brent Gilcher completed college-level courses at
Michigan Institute of Aerospace Technologies in pursuit of certificates
in airframe mechanics and power plant mechanics. He then worked for
seven years in machine and building maintenance where he gained
considerable knowledge in electrical panel wiring and troubleshooting.
He applies his knowledge and experience in
fabrication, electrical, mechanical, welding and painting to contribute
significantly to Global Machine Technology’s success.
Brent is the father of one young son.
Jim Kraft
With more than 30 years’ experience in the machine tool
trade, Jim has been at the cutting edge of machine building technology.
Jim has worked as a machine builder, machine rebuilder, troubleshooter,
machine repairman and service representative. For Global Machine
Technology, Jim serves as a service engineer, adding that valuable
dimension in order to help customers get their critical machines up and
running.
Jim has worked on most major American and
foreign-made machines, both conventional and CNC.
He is the father of three and grandfather of one.
