“I am writing to inform you of the positive experience we have had with upgrades to our Unison grinders. We recently contracted Global Machine Technology to replace all five axis drive motors on our three 2600 machines. Since the upgrade we have seen considerable decreases in cycle time and drastically increased reliability. In some cases the cycle times have decreased from six minutes to four minutes on certain balls and a decrease of ten to twenty percent has been seen on many of the more than one hundred different cutters made on these machines.
